Redneck Life

I've taken a little break from this blog over the summer, but it's time for me to jump back into it. My Mama brain needs help remembering the happenings that go by too fast.

We had a family get together this weekend with my husband's family in south Alabama. One of those shindigs where everyone is hot, dirty, and the kids consume a years worth of sugar in one day. Good times. But hey, what are family gatherings in the south all about? Togetherness and good food. And heat. No shortage on the heat!

Just a few moments I captured with the iPhone & Fujifilm:
The twins played with cousins and new friends from around the camp ~

Isaac talking to his great-grandpa, Papaw Elvin ~
 MiMi and Avery ~
 Avery enjoying a popsicle ~
Those hay bales were too much fun.
 Savannah and Elizabeth ~
 Hay bales again!
 There's a lot going on here ~
 A boy and a swing ~ (Noah)
 Front porch sittin' ~
Savannah chatting with her Aunt Amber ~
Sweet girls ~
 Rope swing ~
 Gavin ~
Peyton wanted a picture with the bull/cow in the background.

Liz talking with her great-grandmother Georgie. Did I mention it was this lady's birthday? Happy Birthday Mamaw Georgie! We love you!

These last two pictures are from a visit earlier this summer:

Love.
