We have a "visitor", I have technical difficulties with my camera...

AAAHHH! I cannot download my great new pics of the babies, b/c I need to buy a usb cord! My cord has been chewed on or something and is not working. Anyway, I know the picture that you would really like to see is the picture of me, running through my neighbor's yard, chasing their dog through the mud in bare feet...

Earlier today, me and the twins were hanging out in the yard, having a good time. We have a kiddie pool that S & I love, and they really enjoy feeding the chickens, and checking on our garden (although I have a hard time keeping them out of the mud). Anyway, a neighbor's dog came by for a visit, and the kids were THRILLED. They followed him around, petted and patted him, talked to him, etc... Finally, it was really time for me to take them inside for a nap. I opened the door, and the dog dashed in and started running around. Savannah and Isaac didn't know what to think about that, and I started calling him and trying to get him to come outside. He quickly ran into the living room, grabbed Savannah's stuffed monkey (that she is pretty attached to), and ran back outside. Of course, me and the twins ran after him (barefoot, fortunately), through our neighbor's very muddy back yard. This seemed to be exactly what he wanted, but finally he dropped the monkey, and I grabbed it. Then we ran (or trotted through the mud) back to the house, with the dog jumping up and trying to grab the monkey out of my hands. I sprayed us down with the garden hose, and we made it back inside for some ice cream. :-) I know, I know. I have such an exciting life.
